Project Description

This Contract was for the rehabilitation of the Deadman Bridge in the Town of New Tecumseth, on 10th Sideroad, approximately 400 m north of 10th Line and crossing over the Bailey Creek, in the community of Beeton. The goal of the project was to widen the existing bridge to accommodate a new pedestrian walkway and to rehabilitate the existing bridge structure. The work included removal and replacement of the concrete deck topping, scarification and concrete overlay on curbs, replacement of the concrete parapet walls, jacking and replacement of the bearings, reconstruction of the ballast walls, repaving the approaches to the bridge, installation of guide rail and end treatments, installation of a sidewalk structure to the bridge, and placement of rock protection in front of the south abutment.

A collaborate effort between our team, the client and the consulting team made this project a success.
