Scope:
The Erie Street pedestrian bridge, a wooden structure spanning the Oshawa Creek, needed replacement due to its insufficient narrow design, unable to accommodate the growing pedestrian traffic resulting from the increased population in the area. Our project involved the installation of helical piles beneath the footings supporting the structure. This crucial step enabled us to smoothly position and secure the bridge onto the bearing pads. Following this, we proceeded to construct an asphalt pathway and enhance the surroundings with landscaping, featuring trees and shrubs, revitalizing the community.
