Project Description
The goal of this project was to removal and replace the damaged ramp wall and improve the underground ramp heating system for an underground parking garage. The restricted access at the site was a challenge and required the use of specialized equipment and methods to achieve a safe excavation and removal of the existing damaged structure . In order to remove the existing structure shoring was required in order to protect the private properties adjacent to the site. Part of the scope of work included obtaining all underground service locates such as natural gas lines, electrical power, cable and phone lines. Consultation with an arborist to conduct a site survey and provide a report to remove all trees within the excavation area along the south garage ramp wall. Additional work included, chainlink fence removal and reinstallation, helical pile foundation system, concrete forming and placing, concrete patching, crack injection, underground heating cable installation and painting.
This project was completed successfully onsite and on budget.
